Proposal for Community Center + Emergency Shelter on the Rockaway Peninsula.

Working with the Rockaway Initiative for Sustainability and Equity (RISE), this center becomes a safe space for the community to learn and communicate through culinary activities like growing and cooking. It not only provides the surrounding area access to fresh locally grown produce but also the opportunity to learn about healthy living.
